Skin Encore (2016)
performance with 6 customized garment sets
By encouraging extended play, the performance leaves the audience with the desire to continue it. Through their many stages, the garments embody both the armor and lounge wear of life in the anthropocene, scaled against mass-exploitation of natural and human resources for the materials that touch our everyday. Through a set of games, they create a new connection with the participants who wear them. The garment set becomes a new set of power dynamics that reposition subject and object.
Spiritual Posture (2016)
A meta-theater where the driftwood becomes a conductor of the electrical lines it gets stuck on, the camera watches the viewer, and the viewer watches themselves from a screen atop a bucket of ash.
